"I’ve had the opportunity to work with Brian Oftedal on a few occasions. In one event, Brian helped connect Revive Health & Wellness, Public Information Officer Lauren Ono from Contra Costa County Fire Protection District and Susan Lowrey from Summerset Orchards. The community was interested in training residents in CPR and how to use their new Automated External Defibrillators (AED).
Brian has been a huge advocate educating and training the community in CPR/first aid and making more AED’s available for the public. CPR for Seniors was started to educate our active adult community. We have trained over 100 senior residents to respond in the event of an emergency. Brian was also able to get 2 more AED units into the PulsePoint notification system.
This was a positive experience working within the Brentwood community and getting more residents trained in CPR and first aid. We are looking forward to training more with these lifesaving skills within the community."
